Gov. Phil Scott Visits Essex Junction

On Tuesday, September 25, the Village of Essex Junction was selected to host a tour for Gov. Phil Scott at our Waste Water Treatment Facility.  This was a part of the Governor’s Capital for a Day program.  Water Quality Superintendent James Jutras showed Gov. Scott Essex Junction’s integrated stormwater, wastewater, phosphorus reduction, and biosolids management systems, as well as highlighting our alternative energy installations at the plant.
