Information Concerning Cloudy Water

A recent Champlain Water District water main break in South Burlington has led to some residents in Essex Junction experiencing cloudy water. While the water may appear cloudy, it is safe to use for all purposes, including drinking, cooking, and bathing. The City Public Works advises residents to run cold water until the water runs clear before using it for any purpose.
