Are you interested in being a part of your local government? The City of Essex Junction has the following officers to be elected at the 2023 Annual City Election
- Moderator (one-year term),
- Two City Council Members (three-year terms), and
- One Library Trustee (five-year term).
Blank petition and Consent of Candidate forms may be picked up at the Town Office, 81 Main Street, or downloaded from the City’s annual meeting page. Candidate petitions must contain at least 30 signatures of city voters in order to have a name placed on the ballot. Candidates must also complete the Consent of Candidate form. Both the completed nominating petition and Consent of Candidate form must be returned by March 6, 2023, to the City Clerk’s office at 81 Main Street.
