The City of Essex Junction is thrilled to announce the long-awaited completion of the Crescent Connector Project. To mark this significant milestone, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Monday, October 7, at 10 a.m., in the new parking lot on Railroad Street. All community members are invited to join in to celebrate this remarkable achievement.

The City Council, City engineers, staff, and the community members who contributed to the success of this project will be in attendance. This ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication that went into making the Crescent Connector Project a reality.

"We are proud to celebrate the opening of the Crescent Connector project, which has been in development for well over a decade. We are incredibly grateful to the Federal Highway Administration and Vermont Agency of Transportation for funding this project and an extensive list of individuals and organizations that made this happen, including but not limited to Dubois & King, Hamlin Engineering, and ECI. Last but not least, we very much appreciate everyone who patiently endured the disruptions during the three construction seasons. This ceremony is a moment to express our appreciation for the community's support," said Regina Mahony, City Manager of the City of Essex Junction.
