Join Us for a Community Meal and Budget Discussion

The City of Essex Junction invites residents to join its annual Community Meal and Budget Discussion on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Champlain Valley Expo Blue Ribbon Pavilion. The event will begin at 11:30 AM and offers a great opportunity for residents to connect with City Departments, Committees, and various organizations. Attendees will have the chance to learn about the proposed FY 26 General Fund budget, ask questions, and enjoy a free meal with fellow community members. During the meeting, Essex Junction Recreation and Parks will also provide childcare for potty-trained children.  

While reservations for the meal are encouraged, they are not mandatory. Residents can RSVP online here, or by contacting Communications & Strategic Initiatives Director Ashley Snellenberger at asnellenberger@essexjunction.org or 802-878-6944 ext. 1601.

The City encourages community members to be actively involved in the budgeting process leading up to the budget's finalization on February 26, 2025.
