The current anticipated schedule and estimated water service interruption impacts have been updated to the following:
Thursday night, 11/2: Connect Crestview. Drury, Drury Extension, Meadow Terrace, Upland, and Brookside streets may be impacted. Night work from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Friday night, 11/3: Connect Main at Densmore. Night work from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM. We anticipate a limited number of water service interruptions during this work. We have notified residents whose water service is anticipated to be interrupted during this work. We will do our best to minimize the length of time and geographic limits of any water service interruptions.
Monday, 11/6: Daytime work with the Contractor running two work crews. This work will temporarily interrupt water service to an estimated 75+ residents on Brickyard Road and Sugartree Lane, at a minimum. We have posted a notice at the entrance to the parking areas for the various condominium/apartment buildings, as well as the single family residences anticipated to be impacted. Also, connect Fairview Drive, which should not interrupt water service for any residents.
This water shutdown is part of the Main Street Waterline Replacement project. The Contractor must connect the new waterline to the existing waterlines serving the side streets. During this time, there will be necessary water shutdowns to complete the side street tie-ins. There will likely be numerous residents impacted by temporary water service interruptions as the connections to the new waterline are made. Given the large number and short timeline, opportunities for advance notifications multiple days in advance will be limited, and we will make every effort to notify residents of changes to the schedule.
