As part of the Main Street Waterline Replacement project, the Contractor must connect the new waterline to the existing waterlines serving the side streets. This will occur November 1-7, 2023, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following morning. During this time, there will be necessary water shutdowns to complete the side street tie-ins. There will likely be numerous residents impacted by temporary water service interruptions as the connections to the new waterline are made. Given the large number and short timeline, opportunities for advance notifications multiple days in advance will be limited, and we will make every effort to notify residents of changes to the schedule. Please see below the current anticipated schedule and estimated service interruption impacts. Keep in mind, with the exception of Taft Street tonight, this anticipated schedule is subject to change by the Contractor.
- Wednesday night, 11/1: Taft Street.
- Thursday night, 11/2: Crestview Drive, Upland Road, and Drury Drive, and Drury Drive Extension.Additionally Meadow Terrace and Brookside Avenue may be impacted.
Next Week's Tentative Schedule
- Sunday night, 11/5: Brickyard Road. This includes Sugartree Lane, Brookside Condos, and residents along Brickyard Road west of Densmore.
- Monday night, 11/6: Main Street at Densmore.
- Tuesday night, 11/7: Densmore Drive. Potentially encompassing Sherwood Square and Village Glen Condos.
