Interview with Matt Lumsden, Realtor & Owner and Erica Sherrod, Client Care Manager
Matt Lumsden Real Estate is the newest real estate office in town, and I had the honor of being the first guest to come through the doors of the newly renovated office last week! While the office is new, Matt has been in the real estate industry for 14 years and is proud to open his own brokerage in the community that he calls home.
Throughout our interview, Matt’s commitment to his customers was evident. Matt and Erica spoke about past clients who have become friends. They have attended weddings, Christmas parties, and other events for clients who they’ve gotten to know over the years. Their passion is evident to others. A recent review on their Facebook page says, “What can I say about Matt! He sold 2 houses for us and helped us buy 2 houses! He really knows his stuff! He is polite, honest and direct! He is a normal guy who LOVES chocolate chip cookies. His partner (aka) Erica is so sweet and genuine, they just make you feel like family! Matt also has the distinction of being one of the few real estate firms in the area to loan clients a moving van for free! As it says on the side of the truck, “Buy or Sell a Home with me, Use this Truck for Free!” Matt lets his clients know that the moving van is not only available for their move, but can be used anytime that they need it, whether picking up a new appliance, furniture, or even to use for a bottle drive. It’s also available to non-profit and community organizations.

Matt, Erica, and volunteers will be walking along the route behind the truck, collecting food for Aunt Dot’s Place in Essex and all donors will receive a coupon for a free creemee at Rocky’s.
