The Village of Essex Junction and the Town of Essex are proud to announce that three of our employees have recently become Certified Municipal Stormwater Inspectors. 

Essex Police collected 393.7 lbs of prescription drugs, the highest poundage in Chittenden County and the second highest in the state of Vermont.

The clean-up effort by volunteers and Town/Village employees resulted in removal of 4.04 tons of trash from roadsides, parks, and along stream banks as a part of Green-Up Day activities. 

On Tuesday, May 22 at 10 AM the Essex Junction Public Works Department will be holding a special Public Works Story Time at Brownell Library.

The market is looking for helpers for EVERY Wednesday from May 30 to October 4.
