Susan McNamara-Hill, Essex Junction's Clerk/Treasurer, was awarded the prestigious Treasurer of the Year Award at the Vermont Municipal Clerks' and Treasurers' Association (VMCTA) in Montpelier. The award was presented in front of approximately 200 municipal clerks and treasurers across Vermont.
The award was presented by VMCTA President Diane Judd, who quoted extensively from the nomination paperwork submitted by eight other municipal officials in Essex Junction, highlighting her exemplary achievements. Susan has dedicated nearly three decades of service to Essex Junction and has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to her community. During the presentation, she was commended for her exceptional management of both the village and town budgets, her successful interim managerial role, and her instrumental work with the two communities following their decision to separate.
The Vermont Municipal Clerks' and Treasurers' Association (VMCTA) and the entire community congratulate Susan for her well-deserved recognition as Treasurer of the Year.
